Recommendations: New York City

Last year it was my first time in NY.

I would recommend to everyone to go there at least one time in their lives. ¡Specially if you are into food!

There were three restaurants the I liked the most, I still remember the experiences on each one of them.

Le Bernardin.
OMG. It was what I felt every time a new marvellous dish was served. My favourite there it was the pounded tuna with foie gras, next time I go to NYC I will come back to Le Bernardin and have this dish twice!. I bought the cookbook and the recipe is there, but I was a bit disappointed because the book doesn't include any cocktail, and the Ginger Yuzu Cooler it was the best drink I have ever had in the USA. I even bough a lot of yuzu juice just to prepare this drink, unfortunately the recipe is a mystery.

Nobu Tribeca:
Omakase! This is the first thing you have to order here. It includes a selection of  signature dishes (in small portions), you can ask them for modifications if you are lactose intolerant, vegan or if you don't eat gluten. Everything was awesome, but the cocktails, they were unacceptably bad, the pisco sour it was so bad, not cool enough and that Torres Orange Liqueur turned it into a margarita, they definitely need to do something about it, it was NOT a pisco sour, what is wrong with the angostura bitters? that's what you should use!. The bottom line: Food is delicious, don't order drinks.

Wo Hop:
Not at the same "level" as the other ones, but the best Chinese food I have ever tried and the cheapest as well.

It reminded me of a scene of John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China.

Order the pineapple duck!
